Jacob is a Partner in our Corporate Group. He specialises
in financial services regulation.
Jacob acts for clients in the wholesale and retail markets and
has particular experience in the development and distribution of
financial services products. He has experience of developing
investment structures that are subject to the Financial Services
and Markets Act 2000 regime and of assisting companies with
applications for FSA authorisation. He advises banks, asset
managers, pension houses, life and non-life insurers, investment
platforms, intermediaries and corporate financiers on
financial services and securities laws.
Jacob has been heavily involved in advising FSA authorised firms
on their policies and processes as a result of the implementation
of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). He
regularly speaks at seminars and publishes articles on issues
affecting the financial services industry.
