The following are examples of our client successes:

  • Advising Abbot Group plc, a FTSE 250 listed leader in oil and gas drilling equipment and services, on its £906 million sale to First Reserve, the US private equity group via the acquisition vehicle Turbo Alpha.
  • Advising Aker Solutions ASA on the acquisition of approximately £100 million of shares in Qserv Ltd, a leading provider of well, process and pipeline services in the North Sea and International markets.
  • Advising Wal-Mart on the sale of Gazeley Limited Group, the property development subsidiary of ASDA, to Economic Zones World, a Dubai World company.
  • Advising Shore Capital, on the US$110 million (£55.65 million) private placing and flotation of Da Vinci Capital Management's CIS Private Sector Growth Fund on the Specialist Fund Market (SFM). This is the first vehicle to list on the SFM, the London Stock Exchange’s public capital market for alternative investment vehicles. 
  • Advised Englefield Capital LLP and Cognetas LLP (formerly Electra Partners Europe LLP) on the acquisition of Morrison plc, a utilities services business.
