Hew heads up our Shanghai office. Specialising in construction
and engineering law, he has advised owners, contractors and
consultants on a wide range of major infrastructure and commercial
construction projects in China and other countries.
Hew has advised the State Development and Reform Commission on
the drafting of the PRC Bidding Law. He lectures regularly on PRC
and international contract forms and construction law issues at
seminars organised by PRC government and related entities. He is a
member of the China International Economic & Trade Arbitration
Commission (CIETAC)'s Panel of Arbitrators and has conducted CIETAC
arbitrations in the capacity of counsel and arbitrator.
