The firm has made a clear commitment to the development and retention of its people. A comprehensive range of development and technical skills courses run throughout the year focusing on developing your skills as you progress throughout your career at Pinsent Masons.

In relation to your development skills, we have The Pinsent Masons Academy which has been designed to equip you with the commercial skills necessary to meet and exceed our clients' expectations in this much-altered legal and business environment.

The Academy covers four areas which we've identified as key to improving commercial skills across the business:

  • Distinctive performance in matter management
  • Business generation and relationship strategies
  • People leadership
  • Firm and client business strategies

All of our people are appraised annually and in addition meet with their managers at the six-month mid-point to ensure the development objectives and learning tools are in place and can be flexed where appropriate, to ensure individuals progress at their own pace.
