Following Nick Pike, Tom Withyman and Steven Cottee joining our restructuring group earlier this year, we have received repeated enquiries as to whether Pinsent Masons will be organising a Restructuring and Insolvency Conference for insolvency practitioners to mark their arrival. There is a huge level of demand for a Conference led by these three leading lights in the world of insolvency and restructuring, so we are delighted to announce that we are. It’s an opportunity for us to showcase both the combination of the team who have joined us and their new colleagues, together with a distinguished panel of guest speakers.

Nick Pike is acting as conference director; he has 20 years’ experience hosting Europe's largest insolvency conference, so we are delighted to have him on board for our first event.

We have devised an interesting and varied programme and have assembled a panel of eminent speakers from Pinsent Masons LLP and the wider restructuring world that is sure to appeal to all insolvency professionals. Highlights will include our ninety minute Legal Update, giving you the very latest in developments over the last 12 months and a Banking Roundtable in which we are delighted to be joined by senior restructuring figures from all of the four major UK clearing banks. Hear Neil Parker from the Royal Bank of Scotland give his unique insight into the UK economy.  We also have seminars on administration, pensions and asset based lending plus an option for our final session.  Those interested in the corporate market will benefit from Simon Joyston-Bechal's analysis of the risks to IPs of health and safety legislation, whilst those who work in the personal insolvency world have an opportunity to hear a focused update on this area of work from Nick Pike.

With an Ask The Expert panel session at 5:00 pm, the finest hospitality provided throughout the day and an informal drinks reception to round off, the Pinsent Masons' Restructuring and Insolvency Conference is likely to be the highlight of the conference year.
