More about Employment service

Age Discrimination

Everyone has an age and since October 2006, all employees have been able to take legal action against their employer if they believe they have been discriminated against on age grounds. The impact of age laws is likely to be very significant and it is essential for employers to gear themselves up for the challenges the new laws will bring.

Equality and Diversity

Equality and Diversity issues have taken centre stage for UK businesses as they compete to attract and retain the best staff. They need to be seen to offer a working environment where there is equality of opportunity for all if they are to be regarded as the employer of choice in their industry.

HR Network

HR Network is a comprehensive range of services to support an organisations HR Strategy and keep its business ahead of the game by delivering a complete knowledge management solution.

HR Network TV

Whilst the risk management value of our HR Network workshops and bulletins has received very positive feedback we recognise that it can sometimes be difficult for HR professionals to find the time to attend the events and/or read the material. We have therefore developed HR Network TV as a means of delivering audio-visual employment law risk management programmes to HR teams.

Information & Consultation Regulations

The Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004 give employees a general right to require their employer to inform and consult with their representatives about matters affecting the business in which they work and particularly in the context of employment. We have a specialist team in this area of employment law.

Trade Unions & Collective Issues

We have considerable experience of advising employers on trade union and collective issues and have a specialist trade union team, led by partner, Chris Booth. We advise clients on all types of collective and trade union issues, ranging from applications to the CAC for trade union recognition to advising on, and throughout, proposed industrial action.

TUPE

The law on TUPE is notoriously complex. Obtaining legal advice regarding TUPE should not, however, be a painful process. We are experts in this area of employment law and we will make the process as straightforward for you as we can. We offer knowledge of the latest case law developments.
