Hong Kong Training Contracts
We are currently recruiting for people who are looking to begin a training contract in our Hong Kong office in 2013 and 2014. While numbers can fluctuate from year to year, we typically recruit two trainee solicitors each year.

Salary and Grants
Trainee salaries are benchmarked against market rates for international firms in Hong Kong and reviewed each year to ensure that, alongside the outstanding training package we offer, we also deliver an attractive and competitive remuneration and benefits package.
If you secure a training contract with us prior to completing the PCLL, then Pinsent Masons will cover the cost of your tuition provided you successfully pass the PCLL exams and complete your training contract with us.
Academic Requirements
To be accepted for a training contract you will need to either have obtained a minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent) or be on target to obtain a 2.1. In addition to your degree, you will also need a minimum of two As and a B at GCE A-levels / HKALE, or if you have taken the International Baccalauréate Diploma Programme, a minimum of 40 points.
Note that we do consider applications from candidates admitted to their degree course via the Early Admissions Scheme. These applications will be assessed on the basis of the candidate's HKCEE results and degree results to date.

Applying for a training contract
To apply for a training contract you must submit electronic copies of the following documents to graduatehk@pinsentmasons.com by no later than 30 September 2011 (for the 2013 intake) and by no later than 29 February 2012 (for the 2014 intake):
· Cover letter
· Curriculum Vitae
· Valid IELTS certificate
· Academic transcripts from University degree, and
· Any other documents which you consider support your application (e.g. references)
Please note you do not need to apply separately for a training contract if you applying for a vacation scheme with the Hong Kong office, as all vacation placement students are considered for a training contract while on their placement.
