We use 'Pinsent Masons' to refer to Pinsent Masons LLP and affiliated entities that practise under the name 'Pinsent Masons' or a name that incorporates those words. Reference to 'Pinsent Masons' is to Pinsent Masons LLP and/or one or more of those affiliated entities as the context requires.
Before 1 March 2008, “Pinsent Masons” was a general partnership constituted under the laws of England and Wales. On 1 March 2008 the UK businesses of Pinsent Masons were transferred to the limited liability partnership Pinsent Masons LLP with the businesses in Dubai, Beijing and Shanghai following later in 2008. Some documents on this website were produced before these businesses transferred into the LLP. Nothing in those documents is to be taken to indicate that the general partnership Pinsent Masons (as opposed to Pinsent Masons LLP) continues business in the UK, Dubai, Beijing or Shanghai.

Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP
Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in Singapore (UEN/Registration Number: T10LL1128C) and is a joint law venture between Pinsent Masons LLP and MPillay registered in Singapore under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act (chapter 163A). The word 'partner', used in relation to the LLP, refers to a partner of the LLP or an employee or consultant of the LLP who is a lawyer with equivalent standing and qualifications. A list of partners of the LLP, and of those non-partners who are designated as partners, is available at the LLP's registered office at 16 Collyer Quay, #22-02, Singapore 049318. We use 'Pinsent Masons' to refer to Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP.
