Our Sector expertise and innovative approach to deal making help our clients create some of the biggest names in the global energy market’
At a time when getting transactions over the line has arguably never been tougher, our experience in the energy sector has helped some of the biggest names in the market execute game changing deals.
When John Wood Group Plc acquired Production Services Network (PSN) or US$1bn deal, we were there to advise on the full spectrum of legal issues inherent in creating one of the world's leading oil service providers. With annual revenues of around US$3bn and a 23,000 strong workforce operating in more than 35 countries, this transaction was truly transformational.
We worked within a multi-national and multi-disciplinary team across 21 jurisdictions worldwide, spanning multiple time zones. We helped our clients negotiate with over 25 different shareholders and a complex debt syndicate. We created and managed a data room consisting of over 5,000 documents accessed by advisers in 21 jurisdictions and maintained a tight timetable and process involving several potential purchasers.
We are proud to have acted for the management team of PSN since its $280m MBO in 2006 right through to sale. People often talk about a 'cradle to the grave' approach, but we have walked the walk.
