International law firm Pinsent Masons has won the 'Insolvency Law Firm of the Year – eight or more office locations' category at the Insolvency and Rescue Awards 2013.
The prestigious accolade is awarded to the law firm that can demonstrate outstanding expertise in the corporate recovery and insolvency fields.
Pinsent Masons fought off fierce competition from Brown Rudnick, Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, Nabarro and Weil, Gotshal & Manges to claim the prize.
Commenting on the win Jamie White, Head Restructuring at Pinsent Masons, said:

The Pinsent Masons restructuring team has expanded significantly over the past 12 months. In 2012 Pinsent Masons hired the 3-partner team of Nicholas Pike, Steve Cottee and Tom Withyman from LG, while more recently the firm appointed restructuring and insolvency expert Richard Tripp from Eversheds in Leeds and restructuring specialist Claire Massie from Dundas & Wilson to head up its Scotland and Northern Ireland Restructuring practice. Outside of the UK, the firm recently hired restructuring specialists Pierre Forget in Paris and Dr. Bernd-Uwe Stucken in Shanghai.
