Pinsent Masons advises Beijing Jangho on Acquisition of majority interests in Steve Leung Interior Design Business

International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Beijing Jangho Curtain Wall Co., Ltd. ("Beijing Jangho") on its acquisition of 70% interests in Steve Leung Designers Limited ("SLD"), an internationally renowned interior design company with award-winning projects and headquartered in Hong Kong, for HK$350 million (equivalent to approximately £26.95 million).

Headquartered in Beijing China, Beijing Jangho is a large-scale provider of façade solutions and is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company operates a manufacturing and full installation business in both Chinese domestic and international markets. Renowned company projects include China Central Television New Site, Terminal Building 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport, China World Trade Centre Phase III, Shanghai Expo Culture Center, Guangzhou Pearl River City, "City of Dreams" of Macao, Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort in Singapore, Abu Dhabi Gateway Sky Tower, Qatar Barwa Financial District, Saudi Arabia CMA Tower, the One Bloor project in Canada and the 10th Street Market in Los Angeles. The acquisition of majority interests in SLD forms part of Beijing Jangho's strategy to enhance the integration of its interior and exterior design business and to expand further into local and global markets.

The Pinsent MasonsTeam advising on the deal was led by Corporate Partner Kenneth Chong, assisted by Senior Associate Sylvia Zee and Paralegal Abby Chen in the Hong Kong office. Pinsent Masons previously advised Beijing Jangho on its acquisition of majority interests in the Sundart International fitting-out business in 2012, for HK$493 million (equivalent to approximately £37.96 million).
