International law firm Pinsent Masons has won the 'Legal Advisor of the Year – Transactional Public' award at the Health Investor Awards 2015. The accolade marks the third year running that the firm has been recognised for its work in the healthcare sector, having previously been celebrated for its legal advice in private healthcare.

Organised by a leading UK industry publication, HealthInvestor, the annual awards celebrate outstanding achievements and innovation in the healthcare sector.

Pinsent Masons was recognised for its work with NHS organisations, delivering structured solutions tailored to meet clients' commercial needs and achieve a more effective delivery of services within the NHS.

The firm was also shortlisted in the remaining three legal categories; Legal advisors of the year 'Private', 'Public' and 'Transactional (private)'.

Pinsent Masons Partner, Barry Francis, commented: "It's a real achievement for our healthcare team to once again be recognised for our work in the healthcare sector. Our team is committed to delivering innovative solutions for our clients and we work closely with each of them to establish a service that is tailored specifically to their needs. To be shortlisted for every legal category in the HealthInvestor 2015 awards is credit to the hard work and dedication of the team."

Joanne Ellis, Partner at the firm added: “Having such a broad range of skill sets within one firm is unique and this year’s award demonstrates the strength of our public sector focus ranging from government led hospital projects, to the growing and diverse market for public private partnering where our knowledge of the NHS is critical and complementary to our now well established transactional practice. This is an excellent result and reflects a very active year across all areas of our sector focus.”
