For the third year running, David Isaac, is celebrated as a prominent executive in the Financial Times “OUTstanding and FT Leading LGBT+ & Ally Executives 2016”

Advanced Manufacturing and Technology sector head and Pinsent Masons’ Diversity Steering Group Chair, David Isaac, has been named a role model on the 2016 Leading LGBT+ Executives list. The list, published in the Financial Times, celebrates prominent professionals who are championing diversity and inclusion in their organisation, challenging negative stereotypes, and demonstrating to younger professionals that it’s possible to be out and successful in business.

Now in its fourth year, the list selects role models based on a demanding set of criteria including seniority, influence, and the active work they do to make a difference in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.

David ranked 19 out of 100 LGBT+ Executive role models in 2016, having appeared in 29th position in 2015, for his work promoting LGBT issues across the firm and the wider community. He appears in the list alongside notable names including Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd’s of London and Sander van’t Noordende, group chief executive products at Accenture.

David commented:

“To be included amongst such renowned leaders as recognised in the list is a great honour. Pinsent Masons is committed to the promotion of diversity across the firm and into the wider community, and we have launched a number of initiatives to support greater inclusivity in the workplace.”

David was most recently named Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission. In 2015, David was also recognised as a ‘Diversity Role Model’ in the legal sector by The Lawyer, and in 2011 was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to equality and diversity.
