International law firm Pinsent Masons has been named "Law firm of the year 2016 – South Germany" by JUVE.
The firm’s Corporate, M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Information Technology (Contracts and Litigation), Energy law (Regulated industries), Employment and Equity Issues & IPOs practices were also highly ranked as ‘renowned’ and ‘recommended’.
The prestigious accolade has been awarded to Pinsent Masons Germany after just four years since the launch of its technology-focused practice in Munich office in 2012 .
Following the success of the office which has now has over 50 lawyers, Pinsent Masons opened in Düsseldorf in 2016. Expanding at a rate similar to that of Munich, the team already consists of over 20 lawyers specialising in energy and life sciences.

The accolade adds to the firm’s recognition amongst a number of industry awards in 2016. Pinsent Masons was also named Law Firm of the Year 2016 by Legal Business in the UK, and Law Firm of the Year in Paris at the renowned Trophées du Droit awards.
