Martin is Head of the firm’s London Office. He has specialised in advising on Construction and Engineering law for over 30 years and has been a Partner since 1983 during which time he has served as the Head of the firm’s Construction and Engineering Group , Head of the Energy Sector and as a member of the firm’s Strategy Board. He is a CEDR accredited mediator and a TECSA Panel Mediator.
Martin is recognised by the Legal Directories as a “Leader” in his field. Chambers describe him as “an impressive choice for contentious work” and “a source of sensible and commercial advice” who “attracts attention for his quality advice on a wide range of construction and engineering issues”. Legal 500 consider him to be “held in extremely high regard by the rest of the industry”.
Martin is a member of the CBI London Regional Council , the CBI Construction Council and a member of the UK Contractors’ Group BIM Task Group. He is also currently President of the City of London Law Society.
