Alan is a Partner with wide experience in a range of commercial property areas including development, investment, leasing and corporate recovery/insolvency. He has also been involved in a large number of medical centre developments throughout the UK, acting for both developers and GPs.
Alan is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources Group and has been involved in a variety of on-shore and off-shore renewable energy projects.
He has a particular expertise in stamp duty land tax and is a member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners' group.
Alan is a qualified solicitor in both Scotland and England & Wales. He is also chair of the Scottish Property Federation's Commercial Property Working Group.
