Carolyn is a Partner with a wealth of experience in advising employers and trustees on the full range of pensions issues, ranging from non-contentious matters through to Pensions Ombudsman claims and High Court litigation. Her contentious work includes a number of the most prominent pensions cases in recent years, notably the National Bus litigation, the Massey Ferguson case and the Lansing Linde and Gallaher rectification cases. Highlights of her recent non-contentious work include advice to trustees on employer covenant issues in the context of a disposal of the principal employer's corporate group against the background of clearance applications and the implementation, for a principal employer, of the merger of two defined benefit schemes.
