Daniel is a Partner and specialist construction and engineering lawyer.
He advises the private sector both domestically and internationally on a wide variety of construction, infrastructure and energy related projects, from coal and gas power stations, to roads, railways and airports.
Acting on behalf of owners, contractors and major equipment suppliers Daniel has worked extensively on international and domestic forms of construction contracts, including FIDIC, JCT, and NEC across China, Brazil, Chile, India, Russia, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Daniel spent 14 months on secondment to Galliford Try plc, a FTSE 250 construction company, as the sole in-house legal advisor reporting directly to the main board.
A frequent commentator on construction matters he is the joint author of PLC’s section on "EPC Contracts in the Energy Sector" and is a visiting lecturer at Kingston University.
