Matthew is a partner and has broad experience of advising financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a variety of financing transactions, including leveraged and acquisition financings, syndicated and bilateral facilities and property and asset financing. He also has extensive experience of work-outs and restructurings.
Matthew has advised on a wide range of financings and restructurings involving companies operating in the U.K. and internationally. He has advised clients on a large number of international deals involving secured and unsecured financings, acquisitions and restructurings in Europe, South Africa, Australia, North America and Latin America. Matthew has spent time on secondment to the Investment Banking and Markets team at HSBC Bank plc and to Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ).
