Nicholas is a Partner with experience in advising on, and documenting, large capital works transactions in private developments, public works, and PPPs, across a range of sectors throughout the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Australia. He combines this experience with a busy practice in advising and representing project participants in the resolution of commercial disputes arising on infrastructure and energy projects across those regions, including as counsel in international commercial arbitral proceedings.
He speaks conversational Japanese and is a member of the International Bar Association, Infrastructure Committee and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is an occasional contributor to the International Construction Law Review (among other journals) and Editor of the firm's Japanese language infrastructure bulletin.
