A leading expert in the field of higher education, Nicola is a Partner and National Head of our Universities Group. She specialises in education law, advising leading universities throughout the UK on strategic issues.
Nicola’s areas of particular interest include mergers, joint ventures and strategic alliances (including with international partners); handling student challenge; students' unions; governance and constitutional advice; and the implications for universities of the Charities Act 2006.
She is a contributing editor to “The Law of Higher Education” (Oxford 2006) and regularly writes for sector journals and speaks at higher education conferences.
