About Peter

Peter is a Partner with more than 25 years' experience in employment law.

With expertise in industrial relations and collective employment problems such as the operation of Working Time Regulations Peter is recognised as a leading employment law adviser to the offshore Oil & Gas industry. He advises major employers in relation to HR strategic planning and resourcing. He has expertise in international jurisdictional employment issues. Other areas of expertise include UKCS employment; Offshore employment structures; Business reorganisations and TUPE issues; equal opportunities law; employment status; atypical employment including agency employment and Fixed Term employment; Union recognition; coaching directors and managers and management training.

Since 2006 Peter has served as a member of the Council of the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce becoming one of its Board Directors in 2012.  He has a keen interest in the Arts, is a member of the Advisory Group of Arts & Business Scotland and in 2013 accepted an appointment as a non executive director of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland.
