Richard is a Partner who specialises in dispute avoidance advice and the resolution of substantial complex construction disputes through litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other forms of ADR. To date, Richard has carried out in excess of 130 adjudications.
Richard acts for Employers, Funders, Contractors, Consultants and Construction and Engineering professionals in all fields. He has significant experience of advising in connection with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the building, power, civils and process engineering sectors. He has advised on procurement strategies, risk management and dispute avoidance. In addition, he has acted for clients on projects involving hotels, multi-media stadia, and universities, as well as disputes within the residential and retail sector.
