Richard specialises in major infrastructure schemes, particularly in the energy, waste and transport sectors. He advises a range of private and public sector organisations on all planning matters including strategy, policy, environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental assessments, planning obligations, judicial review and statutory challenges and enforcement.
Richard is currently advising on some of the UK’s largest projects including new nuclear build, proposals for a nuclear waste repository, conventional and EfW generating stations and airport expansion projects. He is also advising on all planning matters for the London 2012 Olympic Park and Olympic Village. Richard is recognised as a leading planning lawyer by Chambers and Partners.
