About Rob

Rob is a Partner specialising in the management and resolution of disputes arising out of major international infrastructure and energy projects.  He has a broad experience of all forms of dispute resolution, particularly arbitration, representing clients in UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA and ad-hoc arbitrations. 

Rob has advised owners and contractors on a variety of projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Europe.  These have included road projects, airports, FPSOs, refineries, gas turbine and coal fired power stations, waste-to-energy plants, nuclear power plants, pipelines and oil export facilities. 

Rob regularly provides real time advice throughout the project cycle and spent two years based in Khartoum as project counsel advising an international oil operating company on all aspects of project management and dispute avoidance and management arising from the construction of $2 billion upstream and downstream oil export facilities in Africa.
