Shourav is a Partner who advises and represents clients in the onshore and offshore energy, infrastructure and building sectors on the design, engineering, procurement and construction of projects.
Shourav’s recent experience includes acting as project counsel on energy and infrastructure construction projects in Singapore, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the PRC and advising and representing clients in ICC, UNCITRAL and DIAC arbitrations on infrastructure and building projects in Eastern Europe, the Gulf and North and Central Africa.
Historic experience includes: HKIAC arbitration on a railway project in Hong Kong; SIAC arbitration relating to a synthetic gas terminal in the PRC; engineering supply contracts in the PRC; environmental permitting for a railway from Hong Kong to the PRC; public inquiries on highway and port projects in the UK and the leading case on recovery for economic loss in Singapore.
Shourav is a qualified advocate in Singapore and a barrister in the UK and he regularly appears as counsel in arbitrations.
