Stuart is a Partner with many years experience of advising and representing clients across the UK in all aspects of employment law, in particular in relation to business reorganisations and transfers, employee and executive severance, discrimination, equal pay and industrial relations.
Stuart also advises clients on employment issues related to tax such as termination payments, status and salary sacrifice. In addition he advises clients on the international aspects of employment law including international secondments and transfers.
Stuart is noted in Chambers Legal Directory as someone who is an "approachable, friendly and pragmatic employment lawyer". He is a member of the Law Society of Scotland Employment Committee and a regular speaker at seminars on employment law.
