Fiona is a senior associate and an experienced litigator having advised clients on matters arising in the Court of Session, Sheriff Court, Lands Tribunal and at various tribunals and inquiries throughout the country. She also has experience of dealing with disputes by way of alternative dispute resolution and has acted as a legal clerk in arbitration.
The focus of Fiona's work is on property, planning and environmental disputes. She has extensive experience in the following areas: strategies for rent recovery; rent review disputes; dilapidations; disputed break notices; enforcement of keep open clauses; irritancies and recovery of property; insolvent tenants; unauthorised occupiers; enforcement of missives; withdrawal from contracts; servitudes and wayleaves; nuisance; Lands Tribunal applications; planning for various sectors including housebuilders, retailers and renewables; and compulsory purchase.
Fiona is a member of the Property Litigation Association Scotland.
