Kingsway Business Park, Rochdale
We have been acting for Wilson Bowden Developments Limited in relation to the 278 acre Business Park at Rochdale for 15 years. We worked with Wilson Bowden, NWDA and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council in relation to the JV arrangements. We supported Wilson Bowden throughout the planning and CPO process. We have assisted on a number of major infrastructure contracts and are now dealing with disposals of the scheme. This culminated in 2010 in the significant sale and development of the JD Sports building comprising a 616,000sq ft distribution centre and 250,000sq ft of mezzanine space.
Earls Court
We are instructed by Capco on the planning and structuring element of this immensely high profile scheme at Earls Court, one of the largest development projects in London. The scheme is for 75,700sqm of residential use and 21,000sqm of other uses - over 10 million sq ft of development. The scheme is being developed by Capco with TfL and London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Dorchester Town Centre
Pinsent Masons are acting for Simons Developments Limited in relation to the Town Centre Scheme at Dorchester. Planning permission for this 146000 sq ft retail scheme has now been obtained and we are currently working on pre-lets to major occupiers. In addition to the retail element the scheme comprises an hotel and a number of residential units and a new 32000 sq ft Office HQ for the local authorities own use. The offices are currently under construction.
