Lawyer at Pinsent Masons wins Turnaround, Rescue & Insolvency Rising Star Award

24 Oct 2016 | 12:21 pm |

Leeds-based solicitor at international law firm Pinsent Masons, Laurie Murphy, has been awarded the Rising Star Award at the 2016 Turnaround, Rescue and Insolvency (TRI) Awards.

The national award recognises the talents of those with less than five years’ experience in the restructuring industry. Beating competition from other leading firms, Laurie received the award at the annual TRI Awards event which celebrates restructuring industry leaders from across banking and finance and professional services sectors in the UK.

Laurie Murphy said: “I am delighted to have won this accolade at the TRI Awards. It really is testament to the hard work the whole team has put in throughout the year and helps the firm to continue to be seen as a market leader in the turnaround, restructuring and insolvency market.”

Leeds office head at Pinsent Masons, Chris Booth, said: "I am thrilled for Laurie and this fantastic achievement. This is testament to Laurie’s hard work servicing our local and national clients. I am delighted that the emphasis we place on developing our rising stars is being matched at such well respected awards. It also is clear evidence of the influence of the Leeds legal market within the UK."
