Through our Responsible Business programme, we strive to make our business work better for our people, our clients and suppliers, and our local and global communities.  The underlying message being that what we do – no matter how small – will matter. We recognise that we cannot bring about complete social change by ourselves, but even our smallest positive actions can have a beneficial impact on somebody, somewhere.

The focus of 'Starfish', our community investment programme, is 'inspiring young lives', we are committed to raising young peoples' aspirations and breaking down the barriers that may prevent them from fulfilling their full potential. Working with local schools, charities, social enterprises, voluntary and community groups to create transformational change through education, employability and enterprise.

We are proud to partner with, WE Charity, an international development and youth empowerment organisation that inspires communities to lift themselves out of poverty.

WE Charity partners with communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America to implement a holistic, five pillar development model which focusses on: Education; Clean water and sanitation; Health; Alternative income and livelihood and; Agriculture and food security.

Through this ‘Adopt a Village’ design, WE Charity aims to achieve sustainable long-term change for its global villages transforming their lives and the lives of future generations.

In the UK, WE Charity Day and WE Charity Schools are initiatives of WE Charity that educate and empower young people, encouraging them to 'make a difference' both at a global and local level. WE Charity Schools is a year-long educational programme that nurtures compassion in students and gives them the tools to create transformative social change. And WE Charity Day is a series of stadium-sized events that celebrate youths making a difference in their local and global communities.

In addition to our work globally with WE Charity, Pinsent Masons offices across the world have partnered with local charities and initiatives which aim to inspire young lives in their local communities.
