Markus is a lawyer specialising in banking, capital markets and tax law. He advises companies and entrepreneurs according to all questions of stock corporate law and capital market law.

His clients include national and international capital market-oriented companies from sectors such as real estate, sustainable energy, financial services, automotive, healthcare and sports.

Markus advises and assists his clients in IPOs, capital increases, bonds and convertible bonds. In this context, he prepares securities prospectuses, securities information sheets and bond terms and conditions and handles all correspondence with the financial supervisory authorities (e.g. "BaFin", "CSSF"). He also advises on stock exchange follow-up obligations (e.g. ad hoc announcements, director's dealing, voting rights announcements).

Furthermore, Markus advises on the planning and implementation of general meetings. This includes, inter alia, the preparation of invitations to general meetings and the preparation of guidelines for the chairman of the meeting, but also the support in the back office during a general meeting.

Markus specialised early on in electronic securities and the use of distributed ledger technology (DLT), such as blockchain, in the capital market. He also regularly publishes articles on capital market law and tax law topics and is co-author of a commentary on the UKlaG.
