Melissa is an experienced major infrastructure and construction lawyer, with strong experience advising contractors, developers, financiers and government across a range of sectors including transport, social infrastructure, energy and renewables, aged care, distribution and logistics and industrial and private developments.
Melissa has a broad depth and range of experience advising clients at all stages of the procurement process and into contract delivery. She advises contractors and consortia on some of Australia’s largest major transport projects procured under PPP, alliance and traditional contracting models as well as providing delivery, claims and subcontracting support. Melissa also advises on public procurement policy with a focus on major transport projects.
In the energy and renewables sector, Melissa has advised proponents on the delivery and maintenance of solar, wind, renewables technology and LNG projects, both under single contract and multiple contract package procurements with key project interfaces. Melissa also regularly advises on health, aged care and logistics projects, as well as mixed used residential and commercial construction projects.
