Recent examples of our work

  • Providing coverage and defence advice to an investment manager in relation to the settlement of a £100 million claim arising from the failure of an off shore litigation fund. We were successful in negotiating a settlement totalling less than 1% of the claim
  • Providing defence advice to a company secretary and director in relation to a US$ 350 million claim alleging unlawful means conspiracy and breach of fiduciary duty
  • Acting for an insurer in a dispute with its coverholder agent relating to a multi-million pound casualty insurance book of business
  • Advising liability insurers in relation to the coverage and defence of claims against a brokerage business operating out of Gibraltar following the insolvency of a Gibraltar based insurance company
