Global Construction 2030
Pinsent Masons LLP hosted the launch of the Global Construction 2030 report on Tuesday 10 November 2015.

This benchmark report is the fourth in a series of major global studies of the construction and engineering industry to be published by Global Construction Perspectives and Oxford Economics.

The main report findings are: (courtesy of Global Construction 2030 Executive Summary):
- China, US and India will account for 57% of all global growth in the construction and engineering market by 2030 - underpinning the future economic development of the three countries that account for over a third of the world's population and economic output
- The top three nations - China, US and India - will add over US$4.5 trillion to global construction growth
- Eight global construction markets (China, India, Indonesia, UK, Mexico, Canada and Nigeria - ranks in order of contribution to global growth) will account for 70% of all global growth in construction to 2030
- The global construction market is set to grow by US$8 trillion by 2030, reaching a total size of US$17.5 trillion, up by 85% and growing by an average annual rate of 3.9% to 2030.
