James is a Legal Director who specialises in employment law. He continues to be highly regarded as an experienced tribunal advocate, regularly representing clients at the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal, described as 'clear and cogent' and 'able' by the EAT. He has extensive experience of dealing with all types of discrimination issues, unfair dismissal, working time, redundancy, restructuring, executive termination and changes to terms and conditions of employment. James has a leading role in our Financial Services team in Scotland and has been involved in advising on enforcing restrictive covenants and sensitive discrimination cases in this sector. He continues to be involved in restructuring, difficult board level issues and changes to benefits. James has spent time seconded to the employee relations team of one of the Big Four and also spent seven months on secondment to the head office of a FTSE 100 Company. James represents clients across all sectors including a number of major clients in the Financial Services sector.
