About Peter

Peter is passionate about enforcing IP rights and is very experienced in litigating multi-jurisdictional patent infringement suits. 

His areas of expertise include medical devices, information technology, high-tech and consumer electronics, and consumer goods. Peter also advises in IP-relevant contractual matters, in particular licensing and matters of employee inventions law. 

Peter has assisted clients when aggressively enforcing or vigorously defending their IP rights, inter alia during trade fairs. His experience and understanding of differences to other jurisdictions enables him to not only provide excellent service in his own jurisdiction but also to find the best strategy for clients' needs in consideration of those differences.

Peter is a certified IP lawyer (Fachanwalt für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz) and a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property Rights (GRUR) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). He regularly publishes and speaks on topics from the legal areas he is responsible for.

  • Advising a Turkish client in relation to power coatings of car springs in relation to threatened patent litigation
  • Enforcing IP rights on behalf of a British technology company that designs and manufactures inter alia vacuum cleaners and bladeless fans
  • Representing a French client in a patent litigation proceeding relating to camping gas cartridges (preliminary injunction and main proceeding)
