About Alexander

Alexander specialises in intellectual property and information technology law. He advises companies from Germany and abroad in all areas of brand, design, copyright and competition law, and also represents them in disputes both on national and European level. Not least because of his bar admission in Ohio / USA, Alexander has a sound understanding of the specific US procedures in legal disputes.

In addition, he has in-depth knowledge in the field of data protection, particularly in the context of e-commerce / m-commerce projects, questions concerning the international exchange of data with multinational companies, or e-discovery procedures. Alexander also acts as an external data protection officer for a number of clients and provides comprehensive advice on data protection / compliance issues.

A further focus of his legal work is consulting on mobile payment projects and their contractual implementation. 

Alexander is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property Rights (GRUR), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the German Society for Law and Computer Science (DRGI), the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV), and an alumnus of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. He regularly publishes and speaks on topics from the legal areas he is responsible for.
