About Andrew

Andrew is a partner within the firm's Financial Regulation practice. He focuses on retail banking and consumer finance with his experience including: regulatory matters applying to consumer credit; regulated mortgages; peer-to-peer lending platforms; payment services and the issue of e-money; and financial crime prevention.

He also has in-house experience having been a Vice-President in the legal team at Barclays Wealth for 4 years. During his time in house he was involved in the development of a range of new products in the consumer finance space and advised on issues affecting the business' banking, payments and credit products.

Andrew's recent matters have included assisting clients with the development of personal loan and credit card products including the development of product life cycles; drafting compliant terms and conditions, and other client facing documentation; and assisting with regulatory compliance. He has also assisted a number of peer-to-peer lenders including providing advice on the regulatory perimeter.

Andrew acts for a range of firms including banks, specialist consumer finance providers, insurers, investment firms and fund managers, helping them throughout their regulatory and product life cycles.
