Idoya is a Partner and specialises in Finance & Real Estate Acquisition Finance as well as in the restructuring and trading of distressed debt. She acts for a wide range of clients including banks, financial institutions, developers, corporate borrowers and investment funds.
Idoya has extensive experience of the sale and purchase of performing and non-performing loans. She has a broad experience of advising clients on acquisition financings, project financing, general corporate lending, real estate financings, restructurings and work-outs.
Idoya is a Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado), currently on leave. She was the Legal Counsel of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). Idoya was the Deputy Director of the Legal Service of the Spanish Public Bank (Instituto de Crédito Oficial, ICO) and Secretary of its General Council.
Idoya has authored several publications & editorials on public & administrative law.
