About Julian

Julian is a Partner and a qualified Solicitor Advocate with broad experience of dispute resolution in the Higher Courts as well as particular knowledge of public law challenges, pensions litigation and mediation.

He regularly advises public authorities nationally on risk management issues and has significant experience of University dispute resolution including OIA complaints, fitness to practices and Judicial Review. 

He has also acted in a number of important pensions litigation cases including Betafence v Veys & Others [2006], Sovereign Trustees v Glover & Others [2007] and Walker Morris Trustees v Masterson & Others [2009].

Julian is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and appointed to a Local Authority Governance Panel and Standards Committee.
