About Shy

Shy is a Partner and specialist Construction and Engineering lawyer, providing project advice in relation to buildings and large-scale infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally, having previously worked in Singapore and Israel. He has substantial experience in relation to infrastructure projects and he advises clients on the operation of contracts and the resolution of disputes through negotiation, adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

He has expertise in all major standard forms of contract, including NEC, FIDIC and JCT and regularly lectures and writes about construction law topics. Shy is a Council member of the Society of Construction Law, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
