Arwen relocated from Pinsent Masons LLP in the UK to our Singapore office in 2014.Arwen has a diverse skill set, having worked across a range of high tech industries such as media, retail, financial services, life sciences, energy, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, robotics and telecommunications for a number of years. She has led teams advising on high value, strategically important TMT deals in heavily regulated sectors (including a number of large scale IT and business process outsourcing projects). These deals often involve difficult jurisdictions for conducting international business and involve advising clients on challenging regulatory landscapes as they relate to innovative areas of technology.Arwen has advised on several high profile media and entertainment projects since arriving in Singapore (including broadcast media, concerts and theatre productions).Arwen is also an experienced e-commerce lawyer and regularly advises clients on launching e-commerce platforms, both in an online and mobile environment across multiple international jurisdictions.In addition, Arwen is recognised for her intellectual property expertise and regularly advise clients on complex global patent licensing deals (including several in the mobile device manufacturing sector). She also advises rights holders in relation to the merchandising of their branded products and services in a variety of countries in the UK, SE Asia and internationally.
