Keith has practiced for over thirty years as a costs lawyer and consultant and provides specialist law costs advice and advocacy services on costs issues and claims arising in and from commercial disputes and court, arbitration and tribunal proceedings in England and internationally.
Keith has particular expertise in dispute funding options; litigation risk transfer; costs budgets; and costs advocacy and costs negotiation in England and Wales and in international arbitration and costs proceedings. In the past three years he has acted and advised in connection with a number of English court and domestic and international arbitrations involving parties' costs of over £10m, including arbitration involving parties costs in excess of £100m.
Keith is a Costs Lawyer, rather than a Solicitor, and a consultant with Pinsent Masons. He has 'rights of audience' and 'rights to conduct costs litigation' as a Costs Lawyer pursuant to the Legal Services Act 2007, is a practicing member of The Academy of Experts, an accredited Mediator with CEDR and costs expert with CADR, a member of the LexisNexis PSL Dispute Resolution Editorial Board, and a member of the Association of Costs Lawyers.
