Matt joined the Firm as a trainee in 2007 before qualifying into the Employment team in 2009.
He advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law to a wide variety of clients, but particularly those in the manufacturing and services sectors in which he specialises. Matt has particular expertise in the enforcement of restrictive covenants in the high court.Matt has significant experience of advising on redundancy processes, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements and reviewing and drafting employment policies and procedures. Matt also has considerable expertise in managing tribunal claims and is a keen advocate, having successfully represented clients in numerous employment tribunal hearings.Matt recently spent a year on secondment to the in-house legal team of a FTSE250 client, lending an extra edge to the commerciality of his advice.
Suzannah has considerable experience in bringing and defending professional negligence claims, having advised banks, retailers, pension scheme trustees, manufacturers, local government bodies and investors on a wide range of professional negligence issues both for and against professionals, including legal advisers, valuers, surveyors, accountants, auditors and stockbrokers.
