Tamsin is a Senior Associate in Pinsent Masons’ European IP practice, specialising in contentious patent issues. She advises a diverse portfolio of clients on patent matters related to technologies in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals (small molecules and biosimilars) and medical devices.
Tamsin has extensive experience of pan-European patent litigation. She works closely with colleagues in Pinsent Masons’ other European offices to co-ordinate pan-European patent litigation efforts.
Tamsin has been following the setting up of the Unitary Patent and Unified Patent Court (UPC) and is currently undertaking an internal secondment at Pinsent Masons to focus on the UPC, specifically tech solutions related to the UPC. In her secondment role Tamsin is able to use her patent litigation experience and knowledge of the UPC to deliver both internal and external tech solutions. In addition, Tamsin’s extensive experience and knowledge means she is well placed to advise clients as to appropriate legal strategies to consider in order to harness the opportunities offered by the UPC for the benefit of their business.
