Craig advises a variety of clients across a broad range of property transactions with a particular specialism acting for developer clients. Craig acts for developers in numerous sectors such as industrial, logistics, student accommodation, hotels, PRS/BTR, education and leisure.
Craig has significant experience in advising clients upon their acquisition of development sites including advising on development constraints, negotiation of Sale Contracts, Option/Pre-Emption Agreements, Agreement for Lease, Development Agreements and Forward Funding Agreements.
Craig quickly wins the trust and confidence of clients and has a strong reputation for his impressive work ethic, organisational skills, commercial and diligent approach and his strategic thinking. He communicates effectively with clients in order to ensure that their objectives are met.
Craig has experience in the full life cycle of a development including any property finance which may be required and the eventual disposal of the development. For example, Craig led a multi-disciplined team in acting for a student developer in their disposal of a large student accommodation scheme. This involved the negotiation of complicated transaction documents and required management of various specialisms such as Planning, Environment, Tax and Construction to ensure a successful disposal.
