Pinsent Masons appoints new Finance Partner in Sydney

International law firm Pinsent Masons is pleased to announce that Finance & Projects partner, Jim Hunwick, is joining the firm's Australia practice in Sydney.

Jim's appointment supports Pinsent Masons' strategy in Australia to expand its project finance offerings in the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Jim joins the team from Johnson Winter and Slattery, where he has  been a leading partner in its Banking & Finance team for over 13 years.

Jim's expertise covers a broad spectrum of debt-finance related transactions and he regularly advises on project, corporate, property and acquisition finance. He also has extensive and specialist knowledge of synthetic CDOs, securitisations, convertible bonds and derivatives having acted for arrangers, investors, trustees and originators both in Australia and across Asia.
