Risk and Regulation - Half Height Hero

Forensic & Accounting Services

Our specialists can help with the forensic and accounting work that becomes more important as corporate structures grow in complexity.

Specialist Skillset

As well as specialising in forensic accounting, our chartered accountants have worked in audit, corporate finance and recovery teams of Big 4 accountancy practices.

Adding value

We bridge the communication gap between finance professionals and legal advisers leading to efficiencies in case management and enabling our clients to make better informed decisions.

Forensic intelligence

Our service is customisable to meet clients’ needs. We work with clients to make informed business decisions and manage risks by providing critical business intelligence.

We tailor our approach to meet the needs of our clients and the circumstances of the matter concerned. Our services fall under three main pillars:

  • Investigations: We work closely with our corporate crime, civil fraud and asset recovery specialists and regulatory lawyers to support clients responding to critical corporate events. We conduct and manage forensic investigations involving fraud, misappropriation of assets, bribery and corruption, whistleblowing allegations, financial irregularities, misstatements and other economic and financial crime issues.
  • Disputes: We provide tailored support and advice in relation to the financial, commercial and accounting aspects of disputes and contentious matters. This includes assessing quantum, advising on strategy, settlement parameters and prospects of recovery, instructing independent experts and supporting our clients to identify relevant financial information to support and challenge claims.
  • Consultancy: We use our core skills and experience to work with our lawyers across the firm to provide professional services relating to commercial arrangements, corporate and M&A transactions, share plan arrangements, projects, business operations, corporate governance, risk management and various issues on board agendas.
