11 Aug 2026 | 01:18 am |
Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised FTI Consulting, in its capacity as administrators of the CX Lavender group, on the sale of the company's key client-related business and associated workforce to Omnicom Oceania via its subsidiary, Clemenger BBDO Pty Ltd. The transaction completed in Q2 2026.
The transaction involved the acquisition of key client contracts and selected business assets, together with offers of employment extended to 19 employees engaged in the delivery of services to the key client. The sale formed part of a competitive transaction process undertaken during the administration and enabled the continuation of services for a major client while securing ongoing employment opportunities for members of the workforce.
The Pinsent Masons team was led by restructuring partner Hannah Griffiths and corporate partner Andrew Fisken, with support from special counsel Phoebe Martin and Madison Smith.
Commenting on the transaction, Hannah Griffiths said: 'We are pleased to have supported FTI Consulting on this transaction during a complex administration process. The sale delivered a practical outcome that preserved value for stakeholders, facilitated the transfer of key client relationships and created ongoing employment opportunities for employees involved in delivering services to the key client.'
'This transaction demonstrates how restructuring and corporate expertise can be combined to achieve commercial outcomes in challenging circumstances, while supporting business continuity and maximising value for all stakeholders.'
